By accessing and using LinguaMerse, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to our entire service, including the website, web app, mobile application, and any communication between you and LinguaMerse.
LinguaMerse provides language learning services intended to enhance users' language skills. Your use of LinguaMerse is subject to compliance with these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use LinguaMerse.
These Terms & Conditions constitute a contract between you and LinguaMerse (referred to as "LinguaMerse," "us," "we," or "our"). If you violate any of these terms, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account.

Articles and other materials provided within the website and app are solely intended to improve language skills. Topics like health, fitness, or lifestyle are presented in these materials as examples for language learning purposes and are not professional advice. LinguaMerse is not responsible for the accuracy of health advice, historical facts, or any other information presented in these materials. Learning Outcomes Disclaimer
LinguaMerse is designed to support your language learning journey through curated tools and resources. However, success depends on your individual effort, consistency, and external practice. LinguaMerse does not guarantee fluency, proficiency, or any specific learning outcomes.
Copyright and User-Generated Content
Your Content and Responsibilities
When you upload articles or other materials for public sharing, you represent and warrant that:
- You own the copyright or have explicit permission from the copyright holder
- Your content does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights
- You have the right to grant the necessary licenses for sharing this content
By uploading content, you grant LinguaMerse a non-exclusive license to display, store, and distribute your content through our platform for language learning purposes. This license continues until you remove the content or close your account.
Upload Limits
- Free plan users: 3 articles (lifetime limit). Deleted articles count toward this limit.
- Premium users: Unlimited uploads and full editing capabilities
- Article editing requires a premium subscription
Copyright Infringement Reports
If you believe content on LinguaMerse violates your copyright, please contact us at [email protected] with:
- Identification of the infringing material
- Your contact information
- A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is unauthorized
- Confirmation that your notification is accurate
We will investigate promptly and remove infringing content as appropriate. LinguaMerse reserves the right to remove any content that may infringe copyright without prior notice.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions are billed monthly, annually or bi-annually as selected during purchase.
Refund Policy
LinguaMerse offers a 14-day refund policy for users dissatisfied with the service. Refund requests must be submitted via email at [email protected]
License
LinguaMerse grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install and use the website/app strictly in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.
These Terms & Conditions are a contract between you and LinguaMerse (referred to in these Terms & Conditions as "LinguaMerse", "us", "we" or "our"), the provider of the LinguaMerse website and the services accessible from the LinguaMerse website (which are collectively referred to in these Terms & Conditions as the "LinguaMerse Service").
You are agreeing to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms & Conditions, please do not use the LinguaMerse Service. LinguaMerse may from time to time provide enhancements or improvements to the features/functionality of the website/app, which may include patches, bug fixes, updates, upgrades and other modifications ("Updates").
Updates may modify or delete certain features and/or functionalities of the website/app. You agree that LinguaMerse has no obligation to (i) provide any Updates, or (ii) continue to provide or enable any particular features and/or functionalities of the website/app to you.

LinguaMerse does not assume and shall not have any liability or responsibility to you or any other person or entity for any Third-Party Services.
Third-Party Services and links thereto are provided solely as a convenience to you and you access and use them entirely at your own risk and subject to such third parties' terms and conditions.
Account Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using account settings.
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these terms, non-payment, or if required by law. For paid subscriptions, we will provide reasonable notice unless immediate termination is necessary for security or legal reasons.
Upon termination:
- Your access to LinguaMerse will end
- We will handle your personal data according to our Privacy Policy
- Articles you uploaded will be removed within 30 days
- You remain responsible for any outstanding payments
Some provisions of these terms (such as intellectual property and limitation of liability) will survive termination.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold LinguaMerse and its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners and licensors (if any) harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, due to or arising out of your: (a) use of the website/app; (b) violation of this Agreement or any law or regulation; or (c) violation of any right of a third party.
No Warranties
LinguaMerse is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that our service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet all your requirements. To the extent permitted by Dutch and EU law, we disclaim all warranties regarding our platform's performance, accuracy, or compatibility with other systems.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Dutch and EU law, LinguaMerse's total liability to you for any claims related to our service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
We are not liable for indirect damages such as lost profits, business interruption, or data loss, except where prohibited by applicable consumer protection laws.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect. These Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LinguaMerse regarding our services.
Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other rights.
Amendments to this Agreement
LinguaMerse reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace this Agreement at any time. If a revision is material we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use our website/app after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use LinguaMerse.
Entire Agreement
The Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and LinguaMerse regarding your use of the website/app and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous written or oral agreements between you and LinguaMerse.
You may be subject to additional terms and conditions that apply when you use or purchase other LinguaMerse's services, which LinguaMerse will provide to you at the time of such use or purchase.
Updates to Our Terms
We may change our Service and policies, and we may need to make changes to these Terms so that they accurately reflect our Service and policies. Unless otherwise required by law, we will notify you (for example, through our Service) before we make changes to these Terms and give you an opportunity to review them before they go into effect. Then, if you continue to use the Service, you will be bound by the updated Terms. If you do not want to agree to these or any updated Terms, you can delete your account.
Intellectual Property
The website/app and its entire contents, features and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video and audio, and the design, selection and arrangement thereof), are owned by LinguaMerse, its licensors or other providers of such material and are protected by and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws. The material may not be copied, modified, reproduced, downloaded or distributed in any way, in whole or in part, without the express prior written permission of LinguaMerse, unless and except as is expressly provided in these Terms & Conditions. Any unauthorized use of the material is prohibited.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of the Netherlands.
Feedback and Suggestions
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about improving LinguaMerse, we may use these suggestions to enhance our service without compensation to you. This does not apply to articles or content you upload for language learning purposes.
Typographical Errors
In the event a product and/or service is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for the product and/or service listed at the incorrect price. We shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such order whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, we shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account or other payment account in the amount of the charge.
Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. You will be notified of price changes and can cancel your subscription if you do not agree with the updated pricing.
